pre World War Two, with blued 2 5/8in. barrel, blued slide signed 'WAFFENFABRIK WALTHER ZELLA MEHLIS (THUR)' on the right and 'WALTHER'S PATENT MOD 8' on the left together with the Walther banner trademark, fixed sights, blued frame, chequered hard-rubber grips inlet with blue enamelled medallions stating the calibre and model, detachable magazine with heel release, the whole retaining virtually all its original factory finish and together with a later leather full-flap holster
